How to use the search bar on google drive!

Today in Cybersmart we had to make a slide to show how to use a certain part of Google drive. I chose the search bar. I decided to use a slide because I would rather use pictures than video.

Sailing!

Hey everyone!
Last week we did a sailing trip and we learnt how to sail. We had little sail boats and we had to get in partners and set them up. Then we learnt how to sail of ground first. After that the first boats were in the water, Grace and I´s boat went first and Grace sailed first, then it was my turn. I was really nervous but I did it and I had so much fun! After lunch we had a swim in the lagoon, then the older kids had to drag our boats all the way to the other side where we could sail our boats. We had a relay and Jacob and I won! It was tiring and it was really hard because there was no wind. I had fun though!

We had to make a photo story showing our time sailing. I decided to make mine on Roxio PhotoShow. Unfortunately it wont let me embed the photo story on my blog so you will have to click this link: My PhotoShow.

Finally!

Hey!

Wow, end of the second week already! Yesterday we got to do our first session of silent reading. I love silent reading so this was really fun! I read my new book, ¨Land of stories, a treasury of classic fairy tales¨. This is a spin off from the book series ¨Land of stories¨. I will insert photos of it and the series.
The rules for silent reading are
1. Be silent
2. Read your own book.

In Cybersmart this week we have been learning about ways to look after our chromebooks. Prudence and I had decided to create a poster about ¨Four ways to look after your chromebook¨. After we had finished the poster we had extra time and decided to make a video as well. Hope you enjoy!

We are required to follow and respect these values. We had to visit the new HERO site and find one or more values and reasons to make a drama and present it to the class. Laura and I found this difficult because we had no ideas. We found this really embarrassing to present. In the end we chose ¨Responsible Citizens-Pack your own lunch and try new things¨. I hope you enjoy our skit!

Hi Guys!
Wow, this year has been crazy! I hope you had as much fun as I did. Now, on with the post. So last thursday we had a year 6,7 & 8 barn dance. I had so much fun dancing around (I did slip over once though). Here is a photo of Grace & I with our older siblings. My brother, Asher and Graces sister, Sophie.

My Novel Study

In the last few weeks Rimu has been creating Novel Studies. I chose the book ¨The Clockwork Three¨. I think that I could improve on finishing my work on time not a day late.
