Hannah's Tiger speech

I'm going to trap some wild tigers kill the population and sell the skin so I can get Money.

Hi I'm Hannah and today I want to talk about the population of wild tigers. So let's get started. How many wild tigers in the world are left? Let's take a look last year.

When I tell people that just 3,200 tigers are left in the wild, their mouths drop. And that was last year In discussions with some of the world's top tiger experts over the last month, I've learned that the current number now may hover closer to 3,000. There are about that many captive tigers

Ok now that we’ve heard how many tigers I want to tell you about the traps. The trap will activate when tigers run over them and the more the tiger will struggle the more it will cut off the blood circulation in the paw and eventually killing it.

Some people say that tigers are walking somewhat talking money or even GOLD.

In most countries tiger trapping is alegal.

Here is a list of ways you can support companies that are making sustainable practices:
  • Buy 100% recycled paper,

Say NO to Tiger Products! Such as Jungle, Kair and king korn.

Go and help the tigers do the little things such as donating to support.worldwildlife.org.
Go and have fun.

Hannah's winning speech

Hi there I'm going to go and buy the healthiest food I can buy let’s list them Lite milk, chicken, brown bread lite mayonnaise and a block of cheese. Now you think these are the healthiest food you could get am I right? Today I wish I could focus on all of them but because of my time limit I will talk to you today about calcium

You're probably wondering why is she talking about dary or more specifically cecem? But did you know that dairy is one of the top exports in nz a dairy product contains cesem lots of people tell you that you need your celcem but did you know that people who have lots of celcem in there bodys brake more bones.

Also did you know that there is more cecem in Kale, spinach, Collard Greens, Sesame Seeds and for people who I have not convinced plain organic yogurt is a very good source of calcium.

There are a lot of great healthy foods that have calcium in them. A lot of the options I mentioned do not contain dairy, which means there are several good plant-based options available. By the way, the calcium found in dairy, is there because the animals eat plants. Calcium is found in the soil the plants grow in. .

To conclude I think that we should all be on plant based diets and eat less dairy and more whole foods , happy eating.

DISCUSSION for Week 2

What a tense place to stop reading for this week!

Wasn’t that dance at the end of chapter 31 strange?

I mean, it almost seemed as though Mina knew what was going to happen and both she and Skellig needed to make sure that Michael kept his hand joined.

It looks as though Michael is losing his friendship with Coot and Leakey – why do you think that this is happening?

How important is his friendship with these boys?
How do you know this?

If you were Michael, what would you do to be friends with Coot and Leakey again, but at the same time not lose your friendship with Mina?

Why does the author keep telling us about dreams?

There are only 53 pages left in the story …. what do you think will happen to the main characters?
