DISCUSSION for Week 2

What a tense place to stop reading for this week!

Wasn’t that dance at the end of chapter 31 strange?

I mean, it almost seemed as though Mina knew what was going to happen and both she and Skellig needed to make sure that Michael kept his hand joined.

It looks as though Michael is losing his friendship with Coot and Leakey – why do you think that this is happening?

How important is his friendship with these boys?
How do you know this?

If you were Michael, what would you do to be friends with Coot and Leakey again, but at the same time not lose your friendship with Mina?

Why does the author keep telling us about dreams?

There are only 53 pages left in the story …. what do you think will happen to the main characters?

Remember to support your ideas with what you already know.
